Service Agreement Principles

Items to be confirmed regarding scope, costs, delivery and receipt, and feedback for each shipment.

Scope Confirmed by Shipment

Before implementation, the parties need to define the goods, transaction parties, scope of work, responsible parties, and deliverables. Work coordinated with other parties must be clearly documented.

This page is an information framework for discussion, not a template contract, and does not automatically add rights or obligations to an executed agreement. Applicable conditions should be verified against the transaction documents.

Inputs and Information Changes

Businesses and suppliers need to cooperate in providing data that matches the actual goods. When changing the model, materials, quantity, packaging, or delivery location, notify the responsible contact point to assess the impact.

If the information is insufficient to determine an approach, both parties clarify the information to be added and the conditions for proceeding. Data from a previous shipment is not assumed to apply unchanged to a new shipment.

Quotations, Payment, and Additional Charges

Quotations should state what is included, excluded, the basis of calculation, validity period, and payment milestones. Any estimated amounts still pending should be confirmed when sufficient data is available.

Additional work must specify the details, reasons, basis for verification, costs, and any impact on the schedule. The authorized approver confirms according to the agreement before new work is carried out.

Delivery, Receipt, and Documentation

Agree on the location, receiving party, inspection scope, and method for recording handover. When differences in packages or condition are identified, record the relevant data for verification with the responsible contact point.

The document list, named party, handover format, and receipt timing are confirmed according to the arrangement. A single common document list does not apply to all goods and all transaction types.

Feedback, Losses, and Responsibilities

Feedback should include the shipment code, incident details, time, and appropriate supporting data. The handling method, conditions, and scope of responsibility are reviewed according to the agreement and actual documentation.

This page does not provide default compensation rates, complaint deadlines, insurance coverage levels, or refund commitments. These matters should be clarified in the relevant service documents before the transaction.
